This is clear caulk tape: two self-adhesive rolls, each 500 cm long and 3 cm wide, made to cover the seam where a sink, counter, tub or toilet meets the wall. You clean the joint, press the strip on from one side and trim the end with scissors. No gun, no cure time.
Caulk tape for sink, counter and tub seams
- Two rolls, 500 cm (196.85 in) each — about 10 m of strip in total, 3 cm (1.18 in) wide.
- Clear, so the seam reads as the surface behind it — white tile, stone or wood stays the colour it is.
- Self-adhesive — peel, press along the joint, then smooth it toward the other side.
- Cut to length with scissors and fold it into an inside corner along the joint line.
- Where it goes: sink edge, counter-to-wall line, the gap beside the stove, toilet base, bathtub and wall corners.

What is caulk tape?
Caulk tape is a peel-and-stick strip that covers a joint instead of filling it. It goes on dry, so you can use the sink or tub right after you apply it.
What's better, caulk or caulk tape?
Gun-applied silicone caulk fills deep or moving gaps and is the long-term fix. Caulk tape is the fast, tidy cover for a seam that is sound underneath but collects grime or has a rough bead. Remove a stained bead first, because clear tape shows what is under it.
Can I put it over old caulk?
Only over old caulk that is clean, dry and still firmly attached. Peel away anything loose or moldy first, then let the joint dry fully before you press the tape on.
How do I get it straight around a corner?
Work in short lengths. Press one side of the strip to the counter or tub edge, then fold it up onto the wall and smooth it from the middle outward. Cut a separate piece for each run rather than bending one strip around an outside corner.
Can I use it next to the stove?
It is sold for the gap beside the stove, where crumbs and spills fall in. We do not have a heat rating for it, so keep it on the counter-side seam and away from burners and oven vents.
