or 4 interest-free payments of $7.50 with Afterpay ⓘ
A pair of diatomaceous stone trays for the spots beside the sink where soap, toothbrushes, and sponges sit in their own water all day.
TL;DR
- $29.99 set of 2 diatomaceous stone sink trays
- 12 × 4 in each — fits beside most bathroom and kitchen sinks
- Absorbs water in seconds — no more soap rings, no more sponge puddle
- Striped surface channels water to the absorption points
The reason we made this a 2-pack: every household needs at least two. One beside the kitchen sink for the dish soap and sponge, one beside the bathroom sink for the toothbrush cup and hand soap. Splitting them between two rooms is what most of our customers actually do.

How to Use

- Water that drips off absorbs into the stone within seconds and evaporates within 5 to 10 minutes.
- Rinse under the tap when the surface looks dingy. Air dry.
Care
- Rinse with warm water — no detergent
- Air dry fully before resetting items on top
- If the surface darkens from soap, lightly sand with fine sandpaper to reopen the pores
- Treat the edges like a ceramic plate — corners can chip if dropped
Frequently Asked Questions
Why a 2-pack?
Most customers want one for the kitchen sink and one for the bathroom. Buying two as a set is cheaper than two singles, and it's the configuration almost everyone ends up with anyway.
How fast does the stone actually dry?
Surface water absorbs within seconds. The tray itself dries fully in 5 to 10 minutes depending on humidity. By the time you come back to use the soap again, the tray is dry.
Will it hold an electric toothbrush?
Yes. The 12 × 4 in surface fits most electric toothbrush bases, soap dispensers, sponges, and razors.
How do I clean it?
Rinse under warm water. No soap. If the surface darkens from soap residue, sand it lightly with fine sandpaper.
Is diatomaceous earth food-safe?
Yes. Food-grade diatomaceous earth is naturally non-toxic and chemically inert. Safe to use beside the kitchen sink.
Will it stain from colored soap?
A heavily pigmented soap can darken the spot it sits on over time. Light sanding lifts the stain.

The story behind the product
Diatomaceous Earth Sink Tray
A quiet, thoughtful tray for the corners of the house where small things pile up
Minimal design
Built to Disappear Into the Counter, Not Compete With It
Most sink trays announce themselves. This one doesn't. The oval profile, soft grooved surface, and small raised feet were drawn so the tray sits quietly underneath the things you actually use every day — soap pump, sponge, a small ceramic. It reads as part of the counter, not as decor that needs explaining. We chose proportions that work next to a single sink or split between bathroom and kitchen, and a finish that doesn't yellow over the way silicone does.
Bathroom, kitchen, vanity, plants
Sized for the Corner Where You Actually Need Order
The tray fits the four spots clutter always lands: the bathroom counter where the toothbrush cup, soap, and skincare share a few inches; the kitchen sink edge where sponge, brush, and dish soap pile up; the vanity where perfume bottles and rings keep migrating; and under a small potted plant where saucers leave rings on wood. One footprint, four jobs. We sized it so it doesn't dominate any of them.
The details people notice second
Grooves Channel Moisture. Raised Feet Let It Dry.
Two design choices do most of the work. The recessed grooves on the surface keep small puddles from spreading — drips run into the channels instead of out to the edges. The raised feet lift the tray a few millimeters off the counter so air moves underneath, which is the part most sink trays miss. A flat tray traps moisture against the surface below it; this one doesn't. The combination is why diatomaceous earth needs less wiping than silicone.
Compared to ordinary trays
What a Cheap Tray Skips, This One Was Designed With
The five-dollar plastic tray at the discount aisle skips every detail that matters: it's flat to the counter, the surface doesn't channel water, the edges catch grime, and the look is exactly what it is — disposable. This one was drawn the other direction. Elevated base. Grooved surface. Rounded edges. A finish that looks intentional next to good dishware. The price gap closes once you stop replacing the cheap one every six months.
